LARGE SIZED VALVES FOR YANBU AND JUAYMAH ONSHORE TERMINALS IN SAUDI ARABIA

AMPO POYAM VALVES is supplying diverse highly engineered valves up to 48” and 600 lbs for Yanbu and Juaymah onshore terminals in Saudi Arabia. Both terminals will be connected by the Arabian Heavy delivery to Yanbu East West pipeline, which crosses the entire country from east to west. Saudi Aramco is the owner and end user of both terminals and it awarded the EPC contract for the development of this project to the Tunisian contractor EPPM, one of the major active EPCs in Middle East and Africa.

AMPO POYAM VALVES has designed and manufactured diverse electro-hydraulic actuated metal seated ball valves from 30” up to 48” and 150 up to 600 lbs, diverse 30” and 48” gate valves as well as highly engineered 24” globe valves with electric actuators, for this project. All those valves will be installed at both pipeline extremes.

A 48” gate valve will be moreover supplied with the interiors overlaid with a coating known as FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy). This coating is used to protect pipelines from corrosion, as well as to improve mechanical properties for valve operation at high temperatures, to provide protection to the equipment against mechanical damage, etc. It is also important to mention that this coating also adheres perfectly to interior surfaces.

It has been our deep knowledge on customer’s specifications as well as the adaptability of our solutions, which made Saudi Aramco and EPPM entrust the award of this contract to AMPO POYAM VALVES.
