AMPO HAS UPDATED ITS EQUALITY PLAN AND IT HAS ALSO CELEBRATED THE FIRST EDITION OF THE “EQUALITY WEEK”

AMPO has since 2014 an Equality Plan as well as an Equality Committee, and it has also been recognized as a Collaborative Entity for the Equality of Women and Men by Emakunde, the Basque Institute for Women. This important recognition was received in 2015.

AMPO updates its Equality Plan every four years and its objective is to protect the principle of equality and to ensure that it is applied throughout the cooperative. This year the company has updated once again this plan.

On the other hand, and taking into account that the International Women’s Day is on March 8, AMPO has celebrated the first edition of the “Equality Week”, organizing among other initiatives, a competition and a women’s group photo.

The contest was named “Do you know me?” and its main aim was to highlight the role of some world-renowned women. Moreover, in order to highlight also the historical presence and contribution of women to our cooperative, we have taken a photograph of AMPO women’s team, paying a small tribute to retired women of our cooperative.

AMPO promotes the principle of equality and it daily ensures that it is applied.
