AMPO SPONSORS THE NEW BUSINESS INITIATIVES AWARDS

The XXth award ceremony for New Business Initiatives of the region was held yesterday in Beasain (Gipuzkoa, Spain). The event was organized by the Goierri Region Development Agency, known as GOIEKI, and AMPO has once again sponsored the event; being members of the jury, presenting some awards and also carrying out the main presentation of the event.

The main objective of this initiative is to enhance the contribution and the work of whole the entrepreneurs, since the development of their ideas and their work contributes directly to the well-being and the wealth of the region.

Moreover, with the aim of promoting a collaborative culture, the President of AMPO, Jon Gorrotxategi, presented AMPO’s experience as well as some opportunities for small and medium companies of the region in front of around 70 people.

The awarded business initiatives were:

• Best New Business Initiative: Erasight company project, which is focused on Big Data and Advanced Data Analytics solutions. The aim of this award is to promote the image of entrepreneurs in the valley and to generate wealth through innovative, solid and sustainable projects.

• Best Innovation Project in a Company: Arrano Company, which offers customers an integral repair service for electric engines and generators. This award encourages innovation in products, processes, markets, organization, etc. of SMEs in the region.

• Best student entrepreneurship Project: Olaran project. The main aim of this last award is to emphasize the importance of entrepreneurship among the students.
