A 20-TON 30” 1500 LBS CHECK VALVE FOR SAUDI ARAMCO’S MARJAN OFFSHORE FIELD

AMPO POYAM VALVES has designed and manufactured a 30” and 1500 lbs highly engineered check valve for Saudi Aramco’s Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP-3) for its Marjan field development project. Marjan is one of the oldest and biggest offshore oil and gas fields in the Arabian Gulf. Producing since the 1970s, the offshore field continues to be revamped to expand its crude and gas production capabilities.

AMPO POYAM VALVES’ 20-ton check valve will be installed in the Marjan Offshore Oilfield, it will allow flow in one direction and will automatically prevent flow reversal in piping systems. This is considered as one of the few self-automated valves that do not require any assistance to open and close. This highly engineered valve has been thoroughly designed by our highly qualified engineers using cutting edge design technologies and capabilities such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in order to optimize valve performance and to guarantee a perfect operability due to its low pressure drop.
