Polskie LNG (Świnoujście, Poland)

CHALLENGE:

POLSKIE LNG terminal requested valves commissioning services during plant construction and start-up to AMPO SERVICE. 

POLSKIE LNG launched the construction of this LNG terminal in 2010 and this plant has contributed to energy security in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. The technological processes and services currently provided by the LNG Terminal include unloading LNG from LNG carriers at the unloading jetty, LNG process storage in cryogenic tanks, LNG regasification and send-out of natural gas to the National Transmission System, LNG transhipment onto tanker trucks and ISO containers.

SOLUTION:

AMPO SERVICE technicians have been on Poland several times (in different project phases) to support the technical staff of Polskie LNG and help extend thousands of valves’ service life, supporting the construction and actively participating in the commissioning and start up processes of the different phases of the project.

AMPO POYAM VALVES has supplied around 2,700 cryogenic and highly engineered ball, globe, gate and check valves for this project.
