The end user Saudi Aramco and the EPC Tekfen Instaat, which is based in Turkey, have trusted in AMPO POYAM VALVES for the design and manufacture of 450 highly engineered valves for the following project in Saudi Arabia: Satellite Gas Compression Pipeline. AMPO will specifically supply sour service gate and check valves with incoloy 825 overlays for this project. The valves’ sizes will vary from 2” to 20” and the pressure range will vary from 600lbs to 900lbs. Most of them will be critical valves due to the high pressure, as well as the application.
This gas compression facilities at Haradh & Hawiyah will improve and sustain gas production from Haradh and Hawiyah fields by reducing choke pressure at the wellhead to 300 pounds per square inch gauge (psig). Moreover, it will extend plateau life at the same production rates for both fields for the next 20 years. This pipeline will have an extension of 1065 km and diameters from 4” up to 48”.

Different high quality surface coatings and hardenings may be applied for special processes and applications in sealing and contact areas to provide anticorrosive qualities and wear resistance, high temperature resistance, anti-coking, metal dusting resistance,… As in this project, where incoloy 825 overlays will be applied to valve body and bonnets.
