More than 1000 valves for corpus christi LNG project

AMPO POYAM VALVES is supplying more than 1000 high specification valves for Cheniere’s Corpus Christie LNG project.

Approximately 20% of these valves are actuated, including ball valves up to 48”. The biggest valve will have a pneumatic actuator and will weight around 44000 kgs. The majority of the valves are manually operated, including ball valves up to 54”x52”.

AMPO SERVICE will give support in the commissioning and Start Up activities.

AMPO supplied previously a series of valves for trains 1 and 2 of SABINE PASS LIQUEFACTION PROJECT, some of them 36” and 42” cryogenic HIPPS Service valves with perfect sealing in less than two seconds. This order also included cryogenic, non cryogenic and metal seated ball valves. Due to excellence and good service, Cheniere and Bechtel have entrusted AMPO POYAM VALVES for Corpus Christi project.
