RETIREES’ DAY IN AMPO

Last October 4 we celebrated, as every year, the Retirees’ Day in AMPO. In this case, in the coast of the Basque Country. The main aim of this celebration is to maintain the relationship among current members of the cooperative and retirees.

One hundred retirees and a wide representation of AMPO moved to Hondarribia early in the morning, and once arrived, the President Jon Gorrotxategi and the Managing Director Pablo Mendizabal, informed them about the current situation of the cooperative. Among other things, they let them know about the industry situation, they shared with them the main milestones of 2018 and finally, they also informed them about the future challenges of AMPO.

After the presentation, the retirees had the opportunity to visit the NER BREEN Project, which is dedicated to 100% natural and sustainable aquaculture and vegetable cultivation. This is a very innovative project, in which AMPO has an important participation.

At midday, they whole enjoyed a meal in the restaurant Atalaia, in Irun.
