AMPO POYAM VALVES WILL SUPPLY OVER 1,300 HIGHLY ENGINEERED CRYOGENIC VALVES FOR THE HANSEATIC ENERGY HUB – STADE LNG TERMINAL IN GERMANY

AMPO POYAM VALVES has been selected to supply more than 1,300 cryogenic valves for the Hanseatic Energy Hub, a major LNG import terminal currently under development in Stade, Germany. This key infrastructure will ensure the reliable supply of LNG and green gases to Germany, while preparing for the market ramp-up of hydrogen. The hub is based on a future-flexible modular system designed to support the green energy transition, with its terminal, port, industrial park and connecting infrastructure all conceived to enable the modular conversion of green energy carriers into hydrogen – much like building block-based power systems.
The project is being developed by Hanseatic Energy Hub GmbH, with Spanish engineering company Técnicas Reunidas serving as the EPC contractor. AMPO POYAM VALVES will deliver the valves in late 2025 and throughout 2026.
All the valves to be supplied are cryogenic and include:
- 750 Gate, Globe and Check valves
- 610 Top Entry Ball valves
- 26 Butterfly valves
These valves will play a key role in handling cryogenic media within the terminal’s complex operations, ensuring safety, performance, and reliability under extreme temperature conditions.
AMPO POYAM VALVES was selected thanks to its extensive experience and solid track record in the cryogenic valve sector. Being part of the project’s highly selective vendor list underscores the company’s engineering excellence, product reliability, and ability to meet the most demanding technical requirements.
With this project, AMPO POYAM VALVES further reinforces its position in the European energy sector and the LNG industry, contributing to the advancement of strategic energy infrastructure for the future.
