Safaniya Oil Field, operated and owned by the state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco, is the largest offshore oil field in the world and is located 200 km north of Dhahran in the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia. This oil field’s production capacity is between 1 and 1.5 million barrels of heavy crude oil per day and it is currently undergoing expansion and upgrade to maintain its production capacity under the Safaniya Master Plan initiated by Saudi Aramco.

It has been our worldwide experience of more than 54 years in the market and in particular in topside services, which has made the EPC NPCC (National Petroleum Construction Company) and the end user Saudi Aramco entrust the award of this contract to AMPO.
