AMPO POYAM VALVES HAS BEEN AWARDED A CONTRACT TO SUPPLY 750 FBE COATED VALVES TO SAUDI ARAMCO

Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas Company based in central-eastern Saudi Arabia, has relied on AMPO POYAM VALVES for the design and manufacture of 750 highly engineered valves for the various plants that the oil & gas company has in Saudi Arabia.

AMPO will deliver to Saudi Aramco 750 high specification ball and check valves between 2017 and 2018, all of them with the interiors overlaid with a coating known as FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy).  This coating is used to protect pipelines from corrosion, as well as to improve mechanical properties for valve operation at high temperatures, to provide protection to the equipment against mechanical damage, etc. It is also important to mention that this coating also adheres perfectly to interior surfaces.

On the other hand, all ball valves to be delivered will be large size valves and for high pressures services (1500 lbs). Consequently, whole the valves will be metal seated.

It has been our deep knowledge on customer’s specifications as well as the adaptability of our solutions, which have made Saudi Aramco entrust once more the award of this contract to AMPO POYAM VALVES.

It should also be noted that AMPO has currently thousands of valves installed for high pressure services worldwide, for various applications, such as; oil and gas production, petrochemical and chemical plants, refineries, offshore platforms, pipelines, energy production, PTA, mining, etc.
