RETIREES’ DAY IN AMPO

Last October 5 we celebrated, as every year, the Retirees’ Day in AMPO.

The main aim of this celebration is to maintain the relationship among current members of the cooperative and retirees.

The retirees arrived to AMPO early in the morning, and the President Jon Gorrotxategi and the Managing Director Pablo Mendizabal, informed them about the current situation of the cooperative. Among other things, they let them know about the difficult situation that the industry is experiencing, they shared with them the main milestones of 2017 (including the opening ceremony of the new plant in India, the works of the new machining workshop in Idiazabal, the LEAN project, etc.) and finally, they also informed them about the future strategy of AMPO. At the end of the presentation, they also had the opportunity to enjoy a short show by the humorist, Anjel Alkain.

After all this, the retirees had the chance to visit the new machining facilities and also the new Ceramic Moulding facilities.

At midday, the 93 retirees enjoyed a meal in the restaurant Mujika, along with a wide representation of AMPO.
