AMPO ARABIA SIGNS LARGEST SINGLE ORDER IN ITS HISTORY WITH C.A.T. GROUP FOR ARAMCO’S ZULUF DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

AMPO POYAM VALVES is proud to announce the signing of its AMPO Arabia manufacturing plant’s largest single order to date, under which the company will locally manufacture up to 1,200 highly engineered valves of various types and sizes at its facility in Dammam 2nd Industrial City.

This landmark agreement was signed with C.A.T. Group, a leading international EPC contractor with a strong presence across the Middle East, which has contributed to some of the Kingdom’s most significant energy infrastructure achievements. Through this agreement, C.A.T. Group has entrusted AMPO Arabia with the local procurement of these highly engineered valves in support of Aramco’s strategic Zuluf development projects. AMPO Arabia is grateful for its customer’s trust and confidence in its local manufacturing capabilities. The signing ceremony brought together key representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Ricardos Najm, Managing Director, and Mr. Giorge Mitri, KSA Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, both of C.A.T. Group, alongside Mr. Salah Elkadiki, CEO of AMPO Arabia, Mr. Karthik Ramaraj, AMPO Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, and the local management team of AMPO Arabia.

Zuluf is one of the largest offshore oil fields in the Arabian Gulf, located approximately 40 kilometers off the north-eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. As part of Aramco’s ongoing efforts to expand production capacity and strengthen the Kingdom’s energy leadership, the Zuluf development program stands as one of the most ambitious offshore initiatives currently underway in the region, targeting a substantial increase in output through the expansion of processing facilities, platforms and associated infrastructure. AMPO Arabia’s role in locally manufacturing the valves required for this project underscores the company’s contribution to a development of major strategic importance for both Aramco and the Kingdom.

This significant order represents an important milestone in Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) Program and reinforces AMPO Arabia’s continued commitment to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy for local manufacturing and industrial diversification.
