OPENING CEREMONY OF THE ENERGY INTELLIGENCE CENTER (EIC)

This morning we have participated in the opening ceremony and handover by the Basque Government and the Bizkaia Provincial Council of the Energy Intelligence Center (EIC) building and the headquarters of the new Abanto Campus of Euskadi Technology Parks. The EIC, an initiative of which we are co-founders together with Petronor, Tubacex, Tubos Reunidos and Vicinay, is a project designed to boost the competitiveness and international leadership of the basque companies in the energy sector and to develop a techno-industrial ecosystem oriented towards the new developments necessary to make energy transition a reality, based on technological development and the creation of knowledge.  

Consequently, AMPO will have the opportunity to develop research, development and innovation projects at EIC, for which we will have cutting edge infrastructure, equipment, specialized labs and workshops with the latest technology and machinery. Projects related to hydrogen will be for example, developed here.
