Gate LNG receiving terminal (Rotterdam, Netherlands)

CHALLENGE:

GATE LNG receiving terminal requested valves commissioning services during plant construction and start-up to AMPO SERVICE. 

Gate terminal receives LNG for its customers, stores it, regasifies it and then supplies it to the gas transport network for distribution to households and industry.

SOLUTION:

AMPO SERVICE technicians were in Rotterdam for several months and years (in different project phases) to support the technical staff of Gate LNG and help extend thousands of valves’ service life, supporting the construction and commissioning and start up processes of the different phases of the project.

AMPO POYAM VALVES has supplied around 2,500 cryogenic and highly engineered ball, globe, gate and check valves for this project.
