AMPO POYAM VALVES WILL SUPPLY HIGHLY ENGINEERED SOUR SERVICE VALVES FOR ARAMCO’S STRATEGIC JAFURAH GAS DEVELOPMENT

AMPO POYAM VALVES has been selected to supply highly engineered sour service valves for the Jafurah Gas Wells Tie-in project, part of Aramco’s ambitious Jafurah Gas Development —one of the largest unconventional gas reserves in the world.
This key project, which includes purchase orders CRPO 19 and CRPO 23, aims to connect new production wells to central gas processing facilities. The Jafurah field spans over 17,000 square kilometres and is estimated to hold more than 200 trillion cubic feet of rich gas reserves. The gas produced will support hydrogen production and blue ammonia projects, aligning with local energy transition goals.
Tailored Engineering for Wet Sour Gas Service
AMPO POYAM VALVES will supply a comprehensive valve package designed specifically for multi-phase, wet sour gas service. All valves are being manufactured using high-resistance materials to meet the strict safety and performance requirements of this demanding sour service environment.
Scope of Supply Includes:
- Motor Operated Ball Valves
Sizes: 16″ and 30″ | Material: A105 - Manual Ball Valves
Size: 6″ | Materials: CW6MC (super duplex alloy) and A105 - Gate Valves
Size: 30″ | Material: WCB
Contributing to Critical Energy Infrastructure
This project reinforces AMPO’s role as a trusted supplier in major global energy initiatives, delivering proven valve solutions for severe services. With enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability, AMPO POYAM VALVES’ participation in the Jafurah Gas Development project supports Saudi Arabia’s strategic goals for boosting domestic gas production and advancing cleaner energy pathways.
