In January 2013 AMPO, led by the firm’s social responsibility team, started an initial collection of food for people most in need. The aim was to collect 2 tonnes of food, with the help of everyone at AMPO. This food was then delivered to the Gipuzkoa Food Bank, which was in turn responsible for passing it on to those most in need: shelters, associations, immigrants’ associations, social care centres, rehabilitation centres, parishes, nursery schools and soup kitchens, etc.

In 2014 the Gipuzkoa Food Bank was able to help 24,500 people in the province.
