AMPO sponsors the “Gerriko Ikerlan” competition which aim is to compile and publish research work about the Goierri region and its residents. Research work submitted to the competition may focus on any field or science in relation to Goierri region: anthropology, toponymy, literature, health, industry, agriculture, biology, history, economy, medicine, engineering, law, pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, IT, etc.

With this initiative, AMPO intends to popularise scientific research work on the valley.
