AMPO sponsors the award ceremony for New Business Initiatives, usually organised by the Goierri Development Agency.

This event, hosted for 18 years, as well as rewarding the best projects in different categories, aims to showcase the ideas of the companies and entrepreneurs in the region, operating as a tool to implement those ideas in the companies. The purpose of all this is to foster employment and wealth in the region. This event normally comprises two categories:

• Best Project of New Business Initiative. The aim is to promote the image of the entrepreneur in the valley and generate wealth through innovative, solid and feasible projects.
• Best Innovation Project in the Company. It encourages innovation in products, processes, markets, the organisation, etc. of SMEs in the region.
