In order to promote sustainable buildings, AMPO has decided to implement sustainability strategies in the expansion of its Machining Plant in Idiazabal, applying for LEED Gold certification. The building has been designed and built following the standards established to obtain the sustainability certifications granted by the U.S. Green Building Council Spain (USGBC). The building, currently under construction, includes site improvement measures, water savings, energy savings, more sustainable materials and resources and a better quality indoor environment.
