The purpose of this initiative has been to offer different types of knowledge, skills and tools to help immigrants be able to fend for themselves and integrate in our society.

In this case, a group of immigrants were selected, who were mainly from the Maghreb region. The general profile was as follows: unemployed individuals who are not legally resident, with no rented accommodation or home of their own, experiencing problems obtaining a housing contract and social welfare, with language difficulties and are not integrated in any social network. The initiative, in collaboration with Caritas Goierri, aimed to alleviate this situation of extreme need.

This course of action was carried out in the Goierri area (which is local to AMPO Headquarters), and volunteers (including a number of people from AMPO) worked with the disadvantaged group in the following areas: language teaching, gardening (education and training so that they can produce their own food) and shelter, etc.
